Zoe Bay to Townsville

Up early and excited about the final leg of our Journey, we get to Orpheus about 9:00, we enjoy the run past the Palms and south to Rattlesnake and Herald Islands. We get to Palleranda about 2:00 and the wind starts to blow a bit, I’m a bit unsure how the berthing will go with the wind but as it turns out there were no problems, the welcoming committee were on hand to grab ropes and safely secure the boat.

At this point I was in a bit of a daze, we had made it!! Greg declared that it was rum o’clock so we headed up to the bar for a few bevvies on the deck. Home at last!!
