Seisia to Escape River - Over the Top!

0700 We’d looked at the tides and decided to set off late but when we got up they were going the right way so we left arounf 7

0900 Nice cruise through the islands until we hit the run to Cape York. A bit rough but we mad good progress up the Albany channel until we made for the passage through rhe islands, wind and waves slowed us to 2 knots, we decided to wait a bit in Vicary bay and made for the passage at 1500

1700 We got through but is rough and we’re finding it hard to keep on course, still a way from  our anchorage

2000 Anchored in Escape river, very scary going in the dark. I later read  that this anchorage should not be attempted in the dark we were pretty lucky to make it without incident.
